Do you have a particular car you dream of one day owning (or one you know you will never have the chance to slide into, rev the engine and curve around corners in with grace and ease)? Do you ogle that ferrari parked outside your office like a delicious steak? Do you admire the sytlish dynamics of the brand new Audi, Aston Martin or Lotus? Maybe you even have your eye on the Bat Mobile.

Most of us have a dream car, so you’re not alone, but you might be surprised to learn that the UK’s favourite cars aren’t massive, complex, gas-guzzling sports cars, no. In 2008,  more than 100,000 Ford Focuses were sold, with the Vauxhall Corsa coming a close second selling 99,574. In third place was the Ford Fiesta, forth the Vauxhall Astra and finally the VW Golf.

Our favourite out of all of these is the brand new Ford Fiesta, which not only comes in an array of stunning Summer colours, but is as competent and reliable as the model it replaced.

With the economy still troubling a lot of us and the growing trend for ethical and eco-friendly living becoming ever-popular, the so-called ‘stay-cation’ has been in the news for the past couple of summers.  It’s no surprise then, that more of us seem to be choosing to holiday in the UK, with travel experts reporting a 17% drop in visits abroad in June 2009, which was arguably the sunniest and warmest month of last summer.  Plus, the Met Office’s prediction that this summer could very well be the hottest on record in the UK promises to help the stay-cation become even more popular in the warmest months of 2010.

Of course, a lot of people are choosing to go on holiday closer to home to save a bit of money; caravanning holidays are a much cheaper alternative to relying on hotels and B & Bs, and they give you greater freedom to explore different parts of the UK at a pace that suits you.  So, whether you already own a caravan or motor home or you’re thinking of investing in one, adflyer have found some of the best holiday destinations the UK has to offer, so take a look!

Here at adflyer, our motoring section is growing all the time, with our trusted sellers uploading fantastic new products for sale on a daily basis.  So, how do you make your car stand out from the crowd?  Well, if you follow our handy hints for selling your car online, potential buyers will be queuing up to view your car whether it’s a BMW, Ford, Jaguar, Mercedes, Peugeot (pictured), Vauxhall or even a Skoda!

First things first, it’s incredibly important to get your product listing right.  You won’t get much interest with a poorly presented product listing, so take the time out to put a good one together.  When you click the ‘Start selling’ button on the adflyer site, you’ll need to find the right category for your item: simply type in a brief description of the item and then choose the appropriate category.  After that, fill in the appropriate specifications for your car with as much information as possible to help attract potential buyers to your listing.

Next, you can give us more information about your car: enter a brief item title and a description of the car with as much detail as you can muster!  Ask yourself all of the questions you’d want to ask if you were buying a car, and try to answer them in your description.  Don’t forget to upload photos of your car, as it’s been proven that visitors to the site are far more likely to buy an item when they can see pictures of it.  Before you click ‘Save/Continue’ to complete your listing, don’t forget to take a look at our optional extras like our product highlighter and the showcase listing option.  Remember, the more your listing stands out, the more visitors and viewings you’ll get.

So, once you’ve done all the right things and your great listing for your car has attracted some potential buyers who want to view the car, how can you ensure a sale?  Well, you’ll need to put in a few hours and a bit of elbow grease, but it’ll definitely be worth it!  You should make your car look as good as new, which means washing the car thoroughly, vacuuming every part of the interior and banishing any smoky or musty smells that might put someone off.  Also, make sure you’ve got all of the paperwork for your car to hand so that any potential buyers can be sure they’re getting a great deal.

Well, we hope this has helped you to see the best way of selling your car online to ensure that as many potential buyers as possible look at your car.  As you can see, it’s incredibly quick and easy to start selling products with adflyer, so get online and get started today!
